Digital Storytelling Tools

Use this curated list of apps and tools to help students create and publish digital stories. These tools change frequently, so check back often to see new and updated lists of tools!

What to look for in these apps:
  • Some apps are free, while others charge a one-time or ongoing license fee. Check with the app developer for details and if they offer education pricing plans (many do).
  • Some apps only work on one brand of hardware while others are device agnostic.
  • Some apps only work on newer machines or specific processors and operating systems. Check the developer's website for system requirements.
